Preparation to be a Good Teacher

A good teacher is someone who teaches not only with mind, but also with heart.

 

To be a good teacher first thing to do is preparation, preparation intent here is to make preparations before carrying out the teaching and learning activities, here are the things that should be prepared before teaching :

1.      Prepare teaching materials to learn over and over again.

2.      Find the analogy or illustration to simplify the explanation of facts and principles that are difficult to understand by students. Especially abstract principles.

3.      Use as many sources of reference in the form of books or materials are appropriate, but understand in advance as well as possible prior to convey to the students.

The second is the Implementing Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). Having already preparing things before doing the teaching, and the second step is to carry out KBM. In implementing KBM existing approaches, methods, and models were done.

The third is the Evaluation of Learning, evaluation is a very important process in formal education activities, because the teacher evaluation can determine the effectiveness of the performance so far, being the evaluation of curriculum developers can provide information to improve ongoing curriculum.

That preparation should a teacher do that later in the teaching of teachers are equipped to provide the science that students must receive properly. That teachers also become professional teachers.
